PM Surya Ghar subsidy software with built-in DISCOM and subsidy rules for 20 regions

Last updated:

Getting the subsidy wrong costs you the deal twice — once when the quote looks too expensive, and again when the sanctioned amount lands lower than promised. SolvSolar holds the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana central slabs, state top-ups and DISCOM net-metering rules as a live ruleset and applies them to the designed system, so the financial page a customer signs matches the scheme they will actually be assessed under.

The same engine supports NEM 3.0 export treatment and STC-aware pricing for Australia. The 30% residential credit (§25D) ended for systems placed in service after Dec 31, 2025. Commercial projects and third-party-owned (lease/PPA) systems may still qualify under §48E, subject to deadlines. Confirm with a tax professional.

Methodology: Rules are configured per state or country in the platform ruleset and are applied to the designed capacity at proposal-generation time. Every value remains editable by the installer; SolvSolar does not guarantee sanctioned amounts, which are set by the relevant authority.

How do I use it on a live deal?

Design the system on the 3D design engine, set the customer's state, and the subsidy is applied before the proposal renders. Costs are covered by the pay-per-kW wallet or a monthly plan on pricing. State-by-state detail lives in the subsidy and net-metering guides.

PM Surya Ghar & subsidy automation — frequently asked questions

›What is the PM Surya Ghar subsidy for rooftop solar?

PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is the Government of India central financial assistance scheme for residential rooftop solar. The central subsidy is slab-based on system size, and several states add their own top-up on top of it. SolvSolar applies the slab automatically to the designed system and shows the net cost after subsidy on the proposal's financial page.

›Does SolvSolar calculate the subsidy automatically?

Yes. Once the system capacity and the customer's state are set, the central slab and any state top-up are applied to the financial plan, and the payback period, EMI schedule and net investment all recalculate. Every subsidy figure stays editable so you can override it for an unusual case.

›Which DISCOM and net-metering rules are built in?

State-level net-metering and DISCOM rules — sanctioned-load caps, export settlement treatment and approval sequence — are held per state and applied to the design, so a proposal in Maharashtra is not quoted on Gujarat's rules.

›Does it cover subsidies outside India?

The engine includes NEM 3.0 export treatment for American installers and STC-aware pricing fields for Australia. The 30% residential credit (§25D) ended for systems placed in service after Dec 31, 2025. Commercial projects and third-party-owned (lease/PPA) systems may still qualify under §48E, subject to deadlines. Confirm with a tax professional.

›Can I show the subsidy timeline to the customer?

Yes. The proposal's financial plan page prints the disbursal sequence — application, installation, inspection and subsidy credit — and it adapts to whether the customer is claiming the central subsidy.

›Is the subsidy amount guaranteed by SolvSolar?

No. SolvSolar reproduces the published scheme slabs and state rules as configured in the platform; the final sanctioned amount is always determined by the national portal, your DISCOM and the site inspection. Treat the proposal figure as an accurate estimate, not an approval.
