Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what information SolvSolar collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, how it is protected, and the choices you have over it.
1. Who controls your data
SolvSolar is operated by PG Software Technologies (GSTIN 06AKEPG7001P2Z5), trading as SolvSolar Technologies. For installer account data we are the controller; for the end-customer data you enter into proposals, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf.
2. What we collect
Account data: business name, contact name, email, phone number, business registration or tax identifier, and login credentials (passwords are never stored in readable form).
Proposal data: customer name, phone, location, electricity bill values, roof and system configuration, bill of materials and pricing you enter to produce a proposal.
Usage and technical data: pages visited, features used, wallet and subscription events, plus standard log data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps used for security and performance.
3. Why we use it
To create and maintain your account, generate and store proposals, meter wallet credits and process subscription payments, provide support, send service and billing notifications, detect abuse or fraud, and improve platform reliability and features. We do not sell your data and we do not use your customers' details for our own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
Only with processors that make the service work: our cloud hosting and database provider, our payment gateway (which handles card data directly), and email or messaging delivery providers. Each receives only what is needed for its function. We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. Storage, security and retention
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure, transmitted over HTTPS, and access to production data is restricted. Row-level access rules keep each installer's proposals separate. We keep account and proposal data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet tax, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your currency, language and region preferences, and measure aggregate usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Clearing browser storage signs you out and resets preferences.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or request deletion of your account data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for optional communications. Write to support@solvsolar.in and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are an end customer whose details were entered by an installer, contact that installer first; we will help them action your request.
8. Children and changes
SolvSolar is a business tool and is not directed at children. We may update this policy as the platform changes; the revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
