Performance, O&M & Monitoring

What should an O&M contract cover?

Reviewed by SolvSolar · Last reviewed:

A solar O&M contract should cover scheduled cleaning, thermal inspection of joints and combiner boxes, inverter firmware updates and fault handling, string IV curve checks, and monthly generation reporting against a guaranteed performance ratio. It should also state a maximum response time for downtime, since an unpriced response clause is where most O&M disputes begin.
